Make sure the inside pet safety strap is properly adjusted to the size of your pet, keeping your pet secure but with enough room to move around a bit. Maxium pet weight is 50-lbs. Do not exceed maxium, the extra weight and height will increase the center of gravity which increases the risk of tip over.
